YouNow Vlog

Beauty and Aikido ©

Hello Everyone!

This picture was taken in the Budoukan in Tsukuba with some kendo ladies. Since I am in Japan I have not been writing at all on my blog because I was so caught up in starting a new lifestyle. Right now I started doing some small vlog like videos on LiveNow and I am also thinking of doing some Google hangouts and documenting my thoughts and experiences through videos.

So good news is I am not gone. I will be coming up with some more content!

I recommend you to check my YouNow channel. You have to be registered, but you can register quickly with your Facebook or with your twitter. I think I will organize some Google hangout also soon.

See you guys!!!!

How to Get a Cute Hairdo - With Bangs

In this video, my friend Bella is doing my hair. The before and after are striking. It is damn hard to tame my wild hair. But she managed to do it. As we are good friends, I was at her place. We chatted a lot and we are planning to organize an all girls day, with many ladies. I could do nails, and maybe a bit of makeup she could do hairs. But we still need to find the people who would be interested in that and live in our area. So if you are and you leave in Budapest, please leave me a note!

She also has a blog:

You can check there loads of transformations and before and after photos. It is amazing how different one can look with a good haircut and some decent makeup. She also does hair extensions and all the such. So if you live in Budapest and want to get your hair done by her, just leave us a comment here or on her blog.

Tell Me about Yourself Award

Hi everyone! Some weeks ago when I opened my email, I just saw this nice message from Viki, that she had a surprise for me. I checked it out, and there it was! The first award my blog ever got from one of its readers. I filled me with super much joy and I want to thank her for thinking of me when she was doing the nominations. I get excited about any comment, but this comment made me especially happy. And so I went to her blog and checked out what it was exactly. There I found out I was to share more fun facts about myself an nominate other bloggers for the award. Love these tags, it reminds me of that other tag I did about the nightstand of a minimalist :P

Rules:
1. Thank the one who nominated you and post a link back to that person.
2. Write 7 different things about yourself, it can be anything.
3.  Give the award to 15 other bloggers.

Here are 7 facts about me:

1. I love having a bath in a bath tub
2. I like learning foreign languages
3. I love all things Japanese: cosmetics, movies, the language, the food <3
4. I like cooking
5. I usually chat on shared talk to practice the languages I am learning
6. I paint my toe nails in summer
7. I change the ringtone on my mobile phone all the time

And now papapapaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaraaaaaaa, I am naming the 15 other bloggers to which I am offering this award. It took so long because I was so lazy to search for the links, but today I opened my google reader and collected the following:

Blog Analytics- About Average Reading Time on my Blog

Greetings Everyone!

I actually pretty much enjoy tracking the reader activity on my blog. Through this I learn more about you, my readers and about blogging in general also. One of the tools I use is PostRank Analytics. I have observed that the more time I invest in a post, the more time you, my readers invest into reading it.

For example it took me several hours to put together this post about different techniques we were practicing at our dojo and I also supported it with carefully searched video material from YouTube. And through this, you also conveyed more of your time fot that post:

Even though I got no engagement for this post yet, hope to get some soon enough. One gets them if someone comments or interacts somehow with that post. For example if you Digg it, Like it on Facebook or Share it on StumbleUpon or if you perform any similar activity.

All in all I treasure those 7 page views, because those people took their time and read my post. Maybe you also learned someting or got more interested in aikido. Thank you for your interest! If you have anything to share or ask, do not hesitate to contact me. I will keep on writing both lighter and more ellaborate posts.

NEW! If I were you, I would vote on the present poll. Check it out in the sidebar where you can also join Google Friend Connect NEW!
